I was thrilled when I saw “Miss Saigon”. Now I’m preparing myself when I finally get to see Cats. My husband’s love for the theater which goes back to his high school years seemed to have rubbed off me. My jaws nearly dropped when he showed me theater tickets to the play. I’ve always wanted to see Cats. The closest I got to it was listening to it on my CD. I can’t wait and is so excited about it.

The Best Room

My brother-in-law’s condo is finally finished. Well-decorated but simple, his place is quite impressive. I think the bathroom is the best room of all. His use of a unique glass mosaic tile design is fantastic. It line the walls and the borders of the floors. The lightings brought out the magnificence of the room. This did not escape the observant eye of my daughter who now wants her bathroom redone.

Inheritance

On a recent trip to the museum, we chanced upon a display of sunken treasure. There are plates and pottery, jewelry and a host of other stuff. A certain display caught my eye because it was similar to what my husband has. It was a chest of gold coins. They were similar to what my husband has in his collection. This started me thinking of how much they would cost today? Hus has been a coin collector since he was a boy. He collected all kinds of coins from everywhere. His most precious ones were the silver and gold coins. He doesn’t collect anymore but the ones he have, he takes good care of them. He’s saving them for our kids.

Aww, no coffee for a day! Actually it’s no hot coffee for a day. Why? I had my pre-molar extracted and doc’s specific instruction is no hot food or drinks for 24 hours. I’ll have to skip my morning kicker and take it iced maybe later in the afternoon.

With my daughter’s birthday just around the corner, my sister had sent her a unique gift. She gave her some gold coins. My daughter found this to be an unusual gift. My sister would usually send her money or the latest gadgets. I guess she’s looking to the future. My daughter is already in her twenties and she may have thought that it’s time to to teach her the importance of investing. With the price of gold appreciating, this would be a good start. My daughter was so thrilled knowing too well how expensive her present is. She called her through our magic jack to say thank you for the cool gift and how she appreciates it.

Here’s the latest on green tea….

A study involving more than a thousand Japanese people age 70 over found that those who drank at least four cups of green tea a day enjoyed better moods than those drinking a cup or less. The brew’s theanine is the one believed to uplift the mood.

I usually have a cup or two daily, I’ll try to increase my intake and see if it does work.
