I received a good news yesterday when my son arrived from school.  Their school principal heeded to our (parents and teachers) request to install lockers.  Finally!

School lockers have been the main topic of the Parents-Teachers meetings for several years.  I, together with the other moms don’t see the point of carrying all their books and notebooks every day to school.  My son has more than 10 books and 14 notebooks so just imagine the load each student has to carry to school every single day.  What really worries me is that his classroom is located on the third floor of their building.  Carrying a backpack loaded with all his stuff may cause him back injuries later on.

It was hard to understand why it took so long for them to decide to provide lockers for their students.  Oh well, at least now that he’s going to have a locker, I don’t have to worry much about his back.
