May is shaping up to be a very, very good month for Xbox Game Pass—with some sleeper hits, like magic FPS Immortals of Aveum, and new games, like Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, arriving soon. And I bet Xbox is happy to have some good news to share right now, following the last few months.
On May 14, as Xbox does every month, the company announced all of the games coming to Game Pass over the next few weeks. The headliner of the month is definitely Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, a big first-party exclusive from Xbox and Ninja Theory and the sequel to 2017’s Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. That big action game launches on Game Pass on May 21.
However, beyond Hellblade II, this month’s Xbox Game Pass line-up is filled with some genuine gems, including some games released last year that were overshadowed by the flood of great releases we saw in 2023.
Here’s the full list of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in May and early June:
- Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons - Available Today

Yet, the universe (and Microsoft) take as they as give, and so six games are leaving Xbox Game Pass at the end of May. As always, you can buy these games at a 20 percent discount if you are a Game Pass subscriber and want to keep playing them after their removal.
